Who Is Nikki Purcell?
Nikki Alston Purcell is a natural warrior that has endured life’s hardships time after time, but that didn’t stop her. She is an overcomer whose testimony motivates and helps others to climb life's obstacles victoriously.

The transformation was necessary for me to acknowledge all that God was entrusting me with. Triumphantly carrying out His will and purpose for my family and those called to me will forever be my testimony. Admittedly, there were times when I felt disappointed by God, but that has not changed who He is to me. He is a good (good) Father who gives good gifts to His children.
Life growing up was not easy, but my family's freedom from generational bondage motivated me to become the fearless warrior God created. I believe my testimony motivates and helps others climb life's obstacles to victory.
The change in my life that took me from fear to faith was realizing that my unresolved childhood traumas affected how I showed up in my marriage. The assumption was marriage would make everything go away, in actuality, it exposed my childhood trauma and my need for healing.
My grandmother was my rock growing up; still is. Sacrificing to love and care for me despite life's obstacles. A true definition of a warrior... resilient and brave. Vividly, I can remember all her money going toward keeping a roof over our heads despite her check being garnished. Watching her endure, I made a personal vow to work hard and never struggle...never have to ask anyone for anything. Being sixteen years old, I felt helpless. My vow to God was that one day I would take care of her. How could I not? Situation after situation, she rose up and fought, never backing down from any fight. I knew I had to do the same determined to win no matter what.
My grandmother would always tell me to "put your trust in the Lord.” I took that to heart because the hell I went through as a child was more painful than I could articulate. The effects of that trauma lasted for years, leaving me crippled with a broken heart.
Like most women, I married with learned knowledge of what a wife is, and should be. Yes, it is true, that when a man finds himself a wife, he has found himself a good thing! However, under the teaching and leadership of the founder of the Helpmeet Army Yvette Benton, when you are a Helpmeet that is Suitable, as a wife you are a threat to the enemy on behalf of your husband and family.

The Love of My Life
Robert Purcell is the love of my life. We have been married for sixteen years and have two wonderful young kings. Robert is the man that I prayed to God for. Before I met him I wondered where all the good men were. Whew, good thing I chose to bet on God. God is so intentional and He truly knows what we need, however it's up to us to trust Him in everything we do. When Robert found me, I was done with dating and felt it wasn’t worth it. I never thought prince charming would sweep me off my feet, but he did! Where did this man come from? Although our marriage hasn’t been perfect, I know he was heaven-sent. Listen, when you give God your YES, you never stop growing.

As a suitable helpmeet, I have learned a lot about myself and my King by following God's instruction and direction. Marriage isn’t what I thought or even what I was taught. Our lives have been a blessing to many, and I believe God has more for us.

Why I do What I do...
I serve, create and motivate because I know the feeling of having everything fall apart with no one in your corner except God. In that isolation, you learn to lean, rely on, and trust Him with everything. The hurt, pain, disappointment, abandonment.
